Even though it's a "Dry January" for some, we have been busy adding new wines from around the world for you to enjoy in February and beyond! Here are some of our new favorites:

Lone Birch Syrah 2019; Yakima Valley, Washington ($15.99) - Made from estate grown fruit of Airfield Estates, this represents great value from the often misunderstood Syrah grape. Dark berries, lightly toasted oak and mocha erupt from the glass leading into velvety finish with notes of cocoa and char. Grilled meats, burgers or roasts.

Stolpman Vineyards Hilltops Syrah 2017; Ballard Canyon, California ($54.99) - A benchmark bottling for Stolpman from the rocky topped ridgeline, it is the epitome of layered elegance. Herbs de Provence, namely lavender, roasted meat and juicy black cherry intermingle in the glass. It is rich, powerful and velvety in texture. It begs for game and hearty dishes.

Oltretorrente  Rosso 2019; Colli Tortonesi, Piedmont, Italy ($22.99) -
From the east side of Piemonte, this is 90% Barbera with a touch of Dolcetto and other native varietals. The nose explodes with big ripe cherry and plum fruit while still showing a bit of softness. It's absolutely drinkable and user friendly while still being an interesting expression of Barbera. Duck, pork, earthy dishes like lentils and mushrooms.

Pallus Messanges Rouge 2019; Chinon, Loire Valley, France ($23.99) -
The estate has been in the family since 1891, Domaine de Pallus has been making Chinon wines under their label since 1982. The Messanges is from sandy soil, one of two soil types in Chinon. There is plenty of violets and flowery goodness restrained by freshly sharpened lead pencil. Medium bodied with light tannins- try it with root vegetables and dishes with aromatic herbs.

Lioco Indica Red 2019; Mendocino, California ($28.99) -
This gorgeous wine is mostly Carignan with a little Valdigue -- the vines of which are over 70 years old! Amazingly fresh and full of berries, with notes of lavender and plums. From the winemaker: "These rapidly vanishing California grape varieties harken back to he Golden State's earlier wniemaking efforts." The tangy red fruits will pair well with pork or birds.

Catena "White Clay" Semillion/Chenin 2020; LujŠn de Cuyo, Mendoza, Argentina ($25.99) -
An exciting new project from Catena, this is 60% Semillon and 40% Chenin Blanc grown in the white clays soils. "Peach-skin, apricot, dried-lime and flint aromas. It’s medium-to full-bodied with sharp acidity that cuts through creamy layers of ripe fruit. Intense, mineral and smoky finish." James Suckling..
