The First Wine Shop Champagne Preservation System in NC!
Seaboard Wine is proud to be the first wine shop in NC to offer a Champagne & sparkling wine preservation system for pouring wines by the glass! Our new Le Verre de Vin dual preservation system keeps our still wines fresh for days by a precisely controlled vacuum created within the bottle (without the use of Argon or Nitrogen gases), plus it keeps our Champagnes & sparkling wines fresh and bubbly by maintaining the pressure equilibrium like that of an unopened bottle. Best of all, our wines are hand poured by our staff, so we can talk about the wines and answer any questions. We are also not constrained by how many bottles our "machine" can hold, so we can offer more wines and sparkling wines by the glass than most wine shops. This is the same wine preservation system used at the Players' Retreat and Mulino Italian Kitchen & Bar in Raleigh. Our selections will change often, so stop by and enjoy a glass or flight of wine soon!
Yes, we will ask for ID if necessary, but our wines are poured by friendly staff, not machines. We can personally guide you through our selections which stay fresh with the Le Verre de Vin preservation system, utilizing precise vacuum technology instead of nitrogen or argon gas. This unique system does not constrain our glass pour selections to how many bottles a machine can hold. Plus, we have the first retail sparkling wine preservation system in NC, so you can always try some bubbles at our bar! Choose from red, white, sparkling and rosé wines in 4oz pours. Featured wines change often, so check out the chalkboard in our bar for new additions!
Plus, we are offering tasting flights: choose any three wines from the 'by the glass' board and sample 2 ounces of each. This week at the wine bar we are featuring some new arrivals and store favorites (selections may change as wines sell out).
Sample before you buy, and receive discounts on the featured wines to take home by the bottle. No other wine bar in the Triangle can offer this level of selection, price and service!

He moved his family back to France during Covid and we are incredibly happy to have him here for this tasting. Specializing in smaller production wineries strictly from his native country of France, Thomas is going to guide you through some of the more well-known wine growing regions but lesser known appellations. This is a seated, guided event and we will be featuring 8 Authentique wines plus small bites, including:
